Medical Insurance: NetStar-1, Inc. offers voluntary group medical insurance, through CIGNA HealthCare, to eligible employees and their dependents. CIGNA offers two Open Access Plus (OAP) plans, (available to all NetStar-1 employees, nationwide). NetStar-1 and participating members share in the cost of health insurance.

Dental Insurance: NetStar-1 offers two PPO dental plans through CIGNA HealthCare to eligible employees and their dependents. This is a voluntary benefit, with shared costs between NetStar-1 and participating members.

Vision Insurance: NetStar-1 offers a vision insurance plan through EyeMed to eligible employees and their dependents. This is a voluntary benefit, available separately from Medical or Dental insurance.

Basic Life Insurance: NetStar-1 employees receive 100% company-paid life insurance with coverage equivalent to one times their annual salary

Basic Accidental Death & Dismemberment: NetStar-1 employees receive 100% company-paid AD&D insurance with a coverage equivalent to one times their salary.

Voluntary Life Insurance: Eligible employees have the option of applying for additional life insurance through Prudential. Coverage is available for the employee, qualifying spouse and dependent children. The employee is responsible for paying the full premium for voluntary life insurance.

Voluntary Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance: Eligible employees have the option of electing additional AD&D insurance through Prudential. Employees may also enroll their dependent spouse and/or children in AD&D insurance. The employee is responsible for paying the full premium for voluntary AD&D insurance.

Short-Term Disability (STD): NetStar-1 pays 100% of the premium for short-term disability insurance coverage.

Long-Term Disability (LTD): NetStar-1 offers voluntary long-term disability insurance through Prudential. NetStar-1 pays 50% of the premium and the employee pays 50% for this plan. Long-term disability will provide income protection up to normal social security retirement age.

Voluntary Legal and Financial Plan: Employees may elect to enroll in a pre-paid legal plan. This plan provides access to a network of attorneys and financial planners for the following: Telephone legal advice and consultation, Legal Tools and Identity Theft Services, Financial Education and Counseling Services, Will Preparation, and Attorney Referrals (divorce, civil suits, etc.).

401(k) Retirement: NetStar-1 provides a tax-deferred retirement savings plan, through Principal.  Employees are permitted to defer a minimum of 1% and a maximum of 60% of their eligible compensation to their 401(k) plan, subject to the IRS annual limit. NetStar-1 matches 50% of your contributions per pay period up to 6% of your base salary. Principal offers a wide range of investment options along with their LifeTime Portfolio options.

Health Care and Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Accounts: NetStar-1 offers employees the chance to enroll in flexible spending accounts (FSA) as a tax-advantaged way to pay for certain medical and/or dependent care expenses.

Commuter Benefits: NetStar-1 offers a pre-tax parking reimbursement plan. Additionally, to help save money on commuting costs and provide a stress-free way for employees to arrive to work on time, NetStar-1 offers a tax-free transportation benefit program.  

Employee Assistance Program: Employees are automatically enrolled in the CIGNA Behavioral Health, Inc. Employee Assistant Program (EAP). The EAP is a company-paid benefit that offers free work-life solutions such as counseling, mental health services, financial services, legal services and much more.

Comprehensive Leave Programs:

Paid-Time-Off (PTO): NetStar-1 provides PTO to all full-time employees. This paid leave may be used for vacation, personal leave or sick leave at your discretion.

Recruiting Referral Bonuses: Eligible employees who participate in our recruiting efforts to attract new employees are able to receive an unlimited number of referral bonuses annually, payable following three months of service of the referred employee. Referral bonuses may vary in amounts, driven by market and company requirements.

Educational and Training Assistance: Continued-education and employee development are highly valued at NetStar-1. NetStar-1 provides assistance with tuition related costs and job related certifications and training.
