The Tri-Service Infrastructure Management Program Office (TIMPO) is the preferred provider and integrator of global communications and computing infrastructure (C&CI) services for the Military Health System (MHS). Its mission is to enhance MHS operations supporting healthcare providers at over 400 hospitals and clinics worldwide. This includes Army, Navy, and Air Force military installations, and Managed Care Support Contractors.
As an enterprise-supporting organization, TIMPO delivers the following products and services required to design, test, install, upgrade, and sustain the MHS: Network Protection; Wide Area Network (WAN) Connectivity; Circuit Management; Local Area Network (LAN): End User Devices (EUD); Computing Center Operations; Capacity Management; and MHS Help Desk / Network Operations Center (NOC) / Network Security Operations Center (NSOC).
NetStar-1 plays an integral role in assisting TIMPO to perform its mission. Our engineering expertise is applied to MHS infrastructure planning, design, development, implementation, sustainment, business process re-engineering support, and network engineering support services. NetStar-1 engineers provide critical expertise to congressionally mandated Department of Defense – Department of Veterans Affairs (DoD-VA) data sharing initiatives, including the integrated Federal Health Care Center project. Also, our engineers are providing critical support in transitioning the MHS infrastructure from Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) to IPv6 operations.
