Doug Meyer Joins NetStar-1 as Director of Recruiting and Security

July 7, 2009 – Rockville, MD - NetStar-1, Inc. announced that it has hired industry veteran Doug Meyer to lead its recruiting and security efforts. Mr. Meyer will manage all of NetStar-1’s corporate recruiters and security personnel, and will report directly to NetStar-1’s Vice President of Human Resources, Kathy Dickerson. His organization will support the company’s operations managers by recruiting staff and securing clearances for many nationwide projects and programs. Mr. Meyer also will work closely with senior management in strategic planning to help meet the company’s staffing goals. NetStar-1 is expected to employ almost 750 people and reach over $170 million in revenues in 2009. 

Meyer joins NetStar-1 after five years at SRA International, where he held the position of Director of Recruiting for the Leverage and Operations sectors. While at SRA, he managed a staff supporting recruiting efforts for all corporate functions. As a Lead Recruiter for SRA, he supported the National Intelligence and Advanced Technologies Business Units, where he helped develop a recruiting strategy for business units hiring high-demand candidates with TS/SCI and higher level clearances.  Prior to his tenure at SRA, Mr. Meyer was a Lead Technical and Intelligence Recruiter at Lockheed Martin. There he supported multiple program managers hiring cleared candidates for the intelligence community in the United States and overseas.  He has also held technical recruiting positions with Digex, Inc., Capital One Financial Corporation, and TEKsystems. Meyer graduated from Radford University with a B.S. in Business Administration.
